1. Introduction

KHouse Holdings LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Tank Heating Calculator (“the Application”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Application.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for an account, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Company affiliation
• Password (stored securely hashed; we cannot view your password)

Usage Information

We automatically collect:

• Pages visited and features used
• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• IP address
• Access timestamps

Weather Location Data

When you enter a ZIP code or coordinates for weather data lookup, this information is sent to the Open-Meteo API to retrieve historical climate data. We do not store your location queries.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Calculation inputs and results: All tank configurations, product selections, and calculation results are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit or store your calculation data on our servers.
• Saved configurations: When you save a configuration, it is downloaded as a JSON file to your local device. We do not have access to your saved files.
• Payment information: The Application does not process payments during the beta period.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Application
• To manage beta access and account administration
• To communicate with you about the Application (service updates, security notices)
• To analyze usage patterns and improve the Application
• To respond to your inquiries
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

5. Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services that may receive limited data:

• Supabase (authentication and user data storage) — stores account information securely with encryption at rest and in transit
• Open-Meteo (weather data API) — receives ZIP codes or coordinates for weather lookups; no user identification data is sent
• Cloudflare Workers (application hosting) — processes web requests; subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not share your information with any other third parties.

6. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active
• Usage logs: Retained for up to 90 days
• Agreement records: Retained for the duration required by applicable law

Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Some anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored data, secure authentication via Supabase, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct your profile information
• Deletion: Request removal of your account and personal data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR)

9. Age Restriction

The Application is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be indicated by an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via the Application. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
